Home Healthcare Company Digitizes Records Through Intuitive Cloud Filing System

When Krista Rissmiller, general manager of NEPA Support Solutions saw the need for a better document management system for the PA-based home healthcare company, her options seemed limited at first.

“We had looked into a couple other products, but none that were capable of helping with a home healthcare company,” said Krista.

Steve saw an opportunity to go completely paperless with the entire recordkeeping process. This would save money that would otherwise go to printing consumables, while simplifying filing and sharing countless everyday forms.

After speaking with Steve and seeing the doors that could be opened by digitization, NEPA Support Solutions discovered the many benefits of customized cloud document management. Through creating custom fields, they could sort now-digitized forms to cut down on the labor otherwise involved in searching for paperwork.

“We found that Usherwood and their solutions were able to accommodate a home care company where there are so many forms,” said Krista.

This solution was especially timesaving when it came time for audits that are often mandatory for healthcare businesses. What used to take hours of sifting through hard copies was shaved down to just a few seconds of filtering customized fields to find necessary forms.
