We are pleased to announce and welcome Theresa Pickens our newest Compliance Paralegal in Buffalo, NY. Theresa will support our internal GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance) initiatives, streamlining our processes and enhancing our clients' confidence in the security of their technology. With her expertise and background in compliance and regulatory frameworks, she is poised to be a key asset in advancing our mission of safeguarding clients' businesses against cybersecurity risks and ensuring we continue delivering top-tier, compliant solutions to protect sensitive data and uphold regulatory standards.
Before joining Usherwood, Theresa served as a Compliance Paralegal at Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University at Buffalo and an MBA from Medaille College.
Outside of her professional life, Theresa is a dedicated mother of two sons who are both involved in travel hockey, with her husband serving as their coach. While this keeps her busy, she also enjoys reading and tackling DIY projects around the house.
