It is our pleasure to announce Nathan Hock as our new Virtual Chief Informtion Officer (vCIO), to the Usherwood team! In his position, Nathan is responsible for project design and development, supporting the sales cycle through high level technical design. Nathan comes to us from CXtec where he was a Product Engineer for 18 years. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys writing, reading and playing Xbox.

Darkness Made Visible. Usherwood company CEO, Louis F. Usherwood had the opportunity to speak to fellow ALA Boston chapter members about the perils of password credentials on the dark web. The lunch and learn's objective was to further educate the group on cyber security challenges for Boston legal firms in 2019 and beyond. Usherwood was able to host over 17 of Bostons top law firms at the UMASS club located on the 32nd floor of 1 Beacon Street. The group enjoyed beautiful views of Boston Commons and the Charles River while at the same time gaining Usherwood's perspective on cyber security.

July 15, 2019 OSWEGO – Golfers in the St. Luke-Boyce Memorial Charity Tournament will be swinging for a $20,000 payout, as part of a hole-in-one contest, thanks to Usherwood Office Technology. The 22nd annual Golf Tournament “tees off” on Saturday, August 10 at Battle Island Golf Course. With great prizes and a relaxed atmosphere, the four-person “Captain & Crew” format attracts golfers of all skill levels who look forward to having fun while supporting local not-for-profit healthcare and residential service providers. The entry fee is $85.00 per person. Team registration is open to the public; the field is limited to the first twenty-five teams to register. The entry fee includes greens fees, cart, and on-course games, with lunch, great prize drawings and awards immediately following the round at Kristen’s Battle Island Club House Café. Proceeds from the charity golf tournament directly support programs at St. Luke Health Services and affiliates Bishop’s Commons and St. Francis Commons help those they serve stay connected with our community by funding outings, activities and entertainment throughout the year. In addition to the $20K hole-in-one contest, a longest drive and closest to the pin for both men and women and putting contest will all be a part of the day’s fun. We are excited to announce Todd Brechue’s new role at Usherwood Office Technology as a Tier II Technician. In his new role, Todd will be responsible for responding to and resolving complex managed IT client service tickets that have been escalated. Todd’s previous role was as a Tier I Technician.

Usherwood Office Technology skated its way onto NBC Sports Boston and NECN on April 15th. Check out our story showcasing our Boston office along with a few hockey moves by company President, Lou Usherwood and Regional Sales Manager, Frank Nones at the Bruins’ practice rink in Brighton, MA. The two also skated with top talent Usherwood employees/players, Mike Brown and Lauren Usherwood (that’s her in net!). Lou was interviewed by NBC Sports anchor and reporter, Kevin Walsh and the two spent time in our downtown Boston experience center to discuss hockey and business. Also joining the group on the ice was long-time friend, Tom Caraccioli. Here’s to the Bruins winning game 7 tonight!

Usherwood Office Technology had the pleasure of hosting its top sales professionals to our 2018 President’s Club. The winners were treated to a four-day excursion at Secrets St. James in Montego Bay Jamaica. Altogether the group of 30 enjoyed a relaxing Caribbean vacation on the beaches of Montego Bay and some of the group activities included very slow days combined with Red Stripe beer, relaxing dinners and the trip culminated with a four-hour catamaran trip. We are looking forward to our next trip and hosting our next set of winners!

It is our pleasure to announce Martin Case as the Logistics Manager at our Syracuse headquarters. In his position, Martin will be responsible for overseeing all logistics for both distribution centers in Syracuse, NY and Auburn, MA to ensure that all deliveries are performed in an accurate and timely manner to our clients satisfaction across New York State and New England. Martin comes to Usherwood from Dunn Tire, LLC where he was the Dispatch Manager for 12 years. He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from SUNY Albany. In his spare time, Martin enjoys to travel, hike, and hang out with his friends.

It is our pleasure to announce James Butler as a Print Center Specialist at The College of Saint Rose Print Center. In his role, James will be responsible for providing support to the staff and students. His day to day duties involve operating high volume print machines and finishing equipment, coordinating and preparing projects for print from start to client delivery and working with the team to accomplish outstanding results. James comes to Usherwood from Global Foundries. He also was a Inventory Control Specialist for several years at Vivint Solar. James is a four year veteran of the US Navy. He attended the Naval Damage Control School in Philadelphia. He received an honorable discharge and medal of Good Conduct. In his free time, James likes to bike and landscaping.

We are proud to announce that Adam French has been promoted to Connectivity Specialist. Adam began his career at Usherwood in 2017 as a Print Center Specialist at the College of Saint Rose in Albany. In his new position, Adam will be responsible for inbound inquiries from our client base on MFP related issues in the Albany, NY area. His goal is to provide first level customer support and resolve any connectivity or application issues the client may encounter. Adam will report to Carlos Acevedo, Team Leader Connectivity Specialist.
