On October 7th we held our 2023 Fiscal Kick Off celebration at the Turning Stone. We were able to have our employees from across the Northeast join us for this event. It is the first in person kick off event we have had since 2019 and it was incredible to have everyone back together again.

We are pleased to announce that Brittani O’Connell has accepted a promotion to Human Resource Manager. In her new role, Brittani will be responsible for partnering with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizational human resource and talent strategy, supporting employees when HR related questions arise, and supervising all individuals in the human resources department.

We are excited to announce Jennifer Powell as our newest Billing Coordinator to the Syracuse office. In her position, Jennifer will be responsible for generating contract invoices, collecting meter readings, and daily reconciliations.

Join us in congratulating Denis TenEyck for his 20th year at Usherwood Office Technology. Denis started in 2002 and is a Major Account Representatives in Central New York. Denis supports our clients at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse University, Loretto along with our other valuable clients within the region. “Denis has been everything any employer could wish for. He is humble, hardworking and driven to take care of our clients," says company CEO, Lou Usherwood. "Denis represents the type of culture that has been instrumental in allowing Usherwood to achieve our year over year growth!”

We are pleased to announce Matt Swanka has accepted a promotion to Staff Accountant. In his new role, Matt will have various responsibilities including, but not limited to, maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations including month close, and maintaining accurate records of fixed assets and prepaid expenses.

We are pleased to announce Bryan Carroll as our Purchasing Agent working out of our Syracuse office. In his position, Bryan will be responsible for procuring all goods for the sales and services divisions including creating and processing purchase orders, inventory evaluation, and resolving issues related to orders.

We are pleased to announce John McGrath as our newest Field Service Technician for the Utica area. In his position, John will be responsible for repair and maintenance of our client’s copiers, multifunctional printers, and network print management.
